Message from Under the Rock

Hi everybody,

How are you doing? I know, I know, it's been a long long while. Did you miss me? I miss you, too!

If you have followed me on Twitter, you know I was sick on and off for the last few weeks. It was horrible having cold and allergy at the same time. I could not speak and the food tasted like cardboard. On top of that, my sleep pattern changed thanked to the cold.

But that was only half of the story. The other half involves life and my will to push myself out of school. For the last few weeks, in sickness and in health, I was working on my statistics. Learning a stat program from scratch has its own ebbs and flows. For the most part, I enjoy it.

And guess what, folks? I haven't worn makeup for a while now. I'm simply too busy for that. => Scandalous, huh? I went through that phase before and nothing could make me want to wear makeup. I was like a turtle living under the rock and that's a shame: fall makeup and fashion is here.

But don't you worry for me: I have some products to review and I like them a lot. I have the pictures taken a while ago and they're waiting for me to edit and write reviews.

Oh man, I can't believe I am writing incoherent sentences and it's only 4:30 pm... on Wednesday! I really really look forward to this long weekend. How about you?

Take care, y'all. I appreciate any tips on getting me out of the rut and blog again.

  3. Hope you can get well soon. It's horrible when you have both. You started to study Stat now? Just a program or change major? Nam's used to major in Stat in UCI but he quit :(

  4. Hi Ngoc Ha,

I feel OK now but the last two weeks was horrible. I just incorporate some stat in my research and love it. It's funny that I always love stat, starting from high school. Why did he quit? Is it because the length of the program?

  5. Well, he said it's too hard and he probably had to get a PhD to get a good job, in other words, no hope with the career.

  6. Hi Ngoc Ha,

That's my case, too! You can't seem to do anything without a proper degree these days.
